Updraft Sculpture

We just love our Updraft sculpture which looks awesome from all angles! It’s actually a bit of a time waster (in a good way) as we enjoy just sitting and watching it move! Metalworks were great to work with and the sculpture was easy to assemble and install.

Penguin Sculpture

Steve shared our vision for the chinstrap penguin and gave us photos, samples, suggestions and updates throughout the “building” process. Custom Gate

We had a custom Corten Steel gate designed and made by Metalworks Wanaka. The customer service was great, the finished product is spectacular and they were installed with perfect alignment. Will definitely use their services again one day.

House Number Encased in Light Box

Got a light box style address number sign made up for our home which is now attached to the house. It looks amazing and we have had many people ask where we had it made. Highly recommend this company.

Custom Railing and Letterbox

Metal works have been great. Safety railing measured, quoted, manufactured and installed perfectly. Also a new mailbox was made and installed to match the front entrance in the same style. Thanks team.

Memorial Sculpture

Thanks to Metalworks Wanaka, we have a delightful statue of our beloved late daughter Polly, so skillfully captured in steel in her memorial garden.

Custom Barbeque Firepit

I just love Metalworks Wanaka and their sculptures and workmanship. They built me a firepit on wheels for the back garden; and I can drop a hot plate across the fire for BBQing as well - I love it!

Caravan Renovation

We can’t recommend them enough! MetalWorks are masters of many trades. We went in with an old ‘68 caravan which we wanted to repair. They waterproofed, repainted, converted to solar, built a collapsible bunk bed, and installed a checkerplate chip guard on the front. They even created a beautiful chrome name plate. She’s an absolute beauty and we get compliments all the time on the craftsmanship. Amazing customer service and genuinely good people.

Custom Light Fixture

I had a very particular need for a piece of metal to be made to create a new overhead light sculpture. They were so easy to deal with, pricing was very fair and the pieces worked beautifully. I would fully recommend these people.

Custom Birdfeeder Sculpture

Excellent experience with Metalworks Wanaka. I had seen the sculptures out the front of their workshop and was looking for a custom made ornate multi level 'bird feeder' to attach to an upstairs balcony. Steve took my rudimentary drawing and turned it into a beautiful practical piece of art! The Tui, Bell Birds and Wax Eyes all love it 🙂 Great service, easy to deal with and very 'creative'. Can highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a custom sculpture!

Motorhome Accident Repair

These guys are genius. They prioritised and repaired in very quick time the smash in the rear of our Motorhome (including bike racks) that appeared to us to be impossible. Got us back on our journey in a few hours and at a very reasonable cost. We most highly recommend to all prospective customers.

Jennifer Rumore is the heart of Metalworks Wanaka’s customer experience.
